The man we stayed with is a Navy Captain, and a friend of his gave hime 14 bottles of wine for the weekend. He kind of overshot the number...it was Sunday afternoon and all those were still sealed.

One of Charlie's roommates, Brian, invited us and some other guys to his friend's parent's lakehouse for the weekend. It was about a 4 hour drive to Smith Mountain Lake in southern Va. The guys got out of the field on Friday night after being there since Tuesday. They were exhausted! In fact, they were given orders that they were not allowed to drive further than 20 miles so I was the designated driver for the night.

It was the perfect weekend! The Navy Captain and his wife were very hospitable. They had a brand new ski boat and 2 jet skis and let us use them freely. We had a blast all day Saturday and Sunday!

Charlie enjoyed the time with his buddies. We can't believe that TBS is almost finished and we will be moving again. Charlie will be graduating 2 weeks from yesterday (Monday). We can't wait to get back to Texas and see everyone and then move on to California!
